Are you as big of a lemur lover as we are? We hope you'll share some of that love with us this Valentine's Day because in addition to caring for the 40+ lemurs at our sanctuary, we recently rescued two more! The shy but sweet male and female were saved, along with nine other animals, from a shuttered zoo in Indiana known for exploiting exotic animals during up-close encounters with visitors.

They're currently adjusting well to their new surroundings, but we urgently need to provide the pair with a new bedroom habitat. That's why we are asking for your help to raise $5,000 so we can construct a new nighttime enclosure that will be filled with cedar and oak trees to ensure these newest residents feel at home. In the wild, lemurs live in deciduous and rain forests in their native Madagascar and we do everything within our power to recreate habitats that feel natural and comfortable for all of our rescued animals.

You can support our project by purchasing a hand-painted Valentine's Day heart ornament created by a chimpanzee at Primarily Primates for $25 before January 29th (which we can ship to a loved one of your choice along with a personal message) or by making a general donation to the project by clicking here or donating via PayPal here.

We thank you for your continued support!
