It’s common for the washing machine at Primarily Primates to be in use multiple times a day.

One reason is that the hundreds of animals at PPI are offered a variety of bedding materials.

“Like people, they have their preferences. Some of them really like a cozy blanket to cuddle up in colder weather; others like to pile them up and sleep on them like a bed,” said Krystal Mathis, executive director of the sanctuary.

In addition, any animals who must be in the clinic for health care are given several fluffy blankets to make them comfortable. And then there are all the towels used for medical procedures or to dry off animals after a bath.

That’s why the sanctuary is so grateful to be getting a year’s free supply of Earth Breeze eco sheets. The icing on the cake— this waterless laundry detergent has no plastic jug waste.

The company selected Primarily Primates for its Buy One, Give Ten Donation Partnership Program. “Primarily Primates is a wonderful organization that is dedicated to saving and caring for our primate population. Giving them lifetime care and a sanctuary where they can find peace and security is priceless,” said Monique Mudi, Buy One Give Ten Impact Manager.

“By donating laundry detergent, we hope to provide relief from the financial strain of having to procure this resource thus reducing operational expenses and helping Primarily Primates to continue their important work.”

Earth Breeze has many animal care partners in its program, donating more than 2 million loads to this category since 2020.
