Mark your calendars because Giving Day for Apes is Oct. 3, 2023. Giving Day for Apes is a global day of giving in support of sanctuaries and rescue centers providing rehabilitation or long-term care for apes around the world.

This year we are raising money for one more greenspace for our chimpanzees!

For years, Primarily Primates has steadily worked to provide natural-substrate enclosures, or “greenspace” as we call it, for all primates living at our sanctuary.

Thanks to diligent work, all 31 chimpanzees residing at PPI have access to greenspace. However, eight of our chimpanzees, all located in one housing array, have limited access. We want all the chimps to have 24/7, access to greenspace, so to resolve this issue, we need just one more greenspace!

We are forever moving the goalpost in the interest of animal care. And with your help, we can reach our goal.
