Primarily Primates » » Life at PPI: Got Art?
by Brooke Chavez
Primarily Primates is seeking donations to be used as auction items for our annual fundraiser, which will be held on October 6, 2018. This event is our chance to meet some of our donors face to face, and showcase our sanctuary’s accomplishments for the past year, and plans for the next. We have dinner and drinks, live music, and a silent auction where we fundraise with a variety of gifts from numerous contributors – and we would love to feature your creations!
Our supporters appreciate the skills of talented artisans, and these donations can raise significant funds for the sanctuary – a couple examples from previous fundraisers are shown here!
Talented artist, Carrie Cook, donated a painting of a lemur, (shown below) titled “Madagascar”. You can view her amazing work at
carriecook.com.
All pieces are welcome, including but not limited to paintings, photography, sculptures, pottery and ceramics, glass, jewelry, wood carvings, and other unique craft items.
Local artist, Flavio, created this unique cut-out technique art piece of chimpanzee, Effie, shown below.
